Abstract/Summary
This presentation explains Repsol Norge‘s advancements in enhancing process uptime.
The YME facility of Repsol Norge, an oil and gas asset in the North Sea, encountered challenges due to severe well slugging, adversely affecting plant controllability and causing partial and total shutdowns. This presentation details how we effectively improved the tuning of the PID loops by accurately replicating with dynamic simulation the behavior of various areas of the offshore platform. These included Three Phase Separation, Produced Water, Compression, and Gas & Water Injection systems
