Abstract/Summary
This presentation showcases how Ascensus Specialties has achieved significant benefits by implementing an Operator Training Simulator (OTS) for their hydrogen production plant.

Ascensus Specialties faced challenges with an aging workforce, limited hands-on training opportunities, and high costs associated with overtime scheduling for shutdowns. With the OTS, operators can now practice startups, shutdowns, and emergency scenarios as needed and therefore be ready to properly face not only their daily regular activities, but also the ones associated with unusual and abnormal situations.
