Overview
Simulation, knowledge, profit

Join us on October 2 for the Workshop on Practical Applications of Process Simulation in the Hydrocarbon Industry—a unique opportunity to gain valuable insights and best practices from experts with extensive experience in the field.
During the workshop, you will explore:
- How Dynamic Process Simulation Analysis of Compression Systems helps to determine the correct sizes of their protection systems (e.g. anti-surge and bypass valves)
- How Dynamic Models can significantly reduce capital costs when re-assessing existing flare systems.
- How combining in a single dynamic process model the simulation of pipelines and the processing equipment provides insights into designing the facilities and in planning their future operability
- Practical applications of Process Digital Twins, on operations and control improvements
Join us to gain practical knowledge and discover the latest advancements in dynamic process simulation!

Petr Niedoba, brings over two decades of experience in Digital Transformation initiatives within the Oil & Gas, Petrochemicals, and other Process Industries. Having honed his skills during his tenure at Honeywell Advanced Solutions EMEA and OSIsoft in the dynamic Middle East region, Petr has cultivated an appreciation for the intrinsic value of process data and process models in catalyzing tangible business improvements in combination with understanding of the regional needs and expectations.

Jordi Badia began working for Inprocess in 2012 as an intern, mainly helping to develop courses for Inprocess Training for Operators (ITOP). After a two-year hiatus in which he obtained a Master in Mathematical Engineering by the Universidad de Santiago de Compostela, he returned to Inprocess to work as a junior engineer, participating mainly in modelling projects for dynamic simulation studies of compression systems, where he helped clients in providing insights into their real assets (or projects) by means of simulated results. Since then, he has participated in many dynamic simulation studies of upstream assets and Operator Training Simulators (OTS) first as a Process Simulation Engineer, then as Lead Engineer, and for the last two years, as Project Manager.

Andrés Vega is currently Inprocess’ Chief Technology Officer (CTO), leading company’s technology strategy. He has over 10-year experience in Oil & Gas Engineering as Process and Simulation Engineer. He began working for Inprocess in November 2018 as a Services Engineer and Project Manager, developing and leading modelling projects with steady state and dynamic simulations for Engineering Studies and OTS, as well as Flow Assurance Studies. Previous to Inprocess, he accumulated 3 years of experience as Process Engineer in Técnicas Reunidas executing Basic and Detailed Engineering including the use of Process Simulation as well (HYSYS, Flarenet, ProMax). Andrés owns the Degree and the Master in Industrial Engineering by the University of Seville, as well as an MBA Executive Program by “Cámara de Comercio de Sevilla” and a Master in Oil & Gas Engineering by the Polytechnic University of Madrid.
