Many nitric acid plants had been designed and erected by the Client based on its own technology. In order to complement the Client’s technological offer to its own clients, it was necessary to develop a dynamic model of the plant that would be used by the Client to show the plant operability to current customers as well as showing the plant and technology capabilities to future, potential customers. As an extended operation, once the dynamic model of the plant were available, it would be adapted into/converted into a Process Trainer and then into an Operator Training System.
