Yinson has awarded Inprocess the development of the Lifecycle Operator Training Simulator (LC-OTS) for the Anna Nery FPSO

Yinson has awarded Inprocess the development of the Lifecycle Operator Training Simulator (LC-OTS) for Anna Nery Floating Production Storage and Offloading (FPSO) platform, which will be deployed at Petrobras’ Marlim field in the Campos Basin.

The Anna Nery FPSO, which is being built from a converted Falcon tanker, is Yinson’s first planned asset for deployment in Brazil and the largest project to date.

Although the LC-OTS’s main purpose is to train the control room operators on a direct-connect OTS, Yinson, like it has done before with other LC-OTS with Inprocess, will benefit from a wider scope during the engineering phases including:

✔️ DynamicSimulation studies, operating procedures validation.
✔️ Early operators and engineers training with an Early-Emulated OTS.
✔️ Virtual commissioning of the ICSS configuration.
✔️ Processing facilities start-up support.
✔️ Post-start-up support with the resulting Digital Twin.

Anna Nery is expected to come online in 2023 and is planned to operate on the field for 25 years. It will be able to process 70,000 BOPD and 142 MMSCFD.
